My interest over Cricket is growing higher this days as the IPL matches are going around. The IPL is a professional Twenty20 cricket league created and promoted by the BCCI and backed by the ICC.
I am one of the supporter of the Kolkatta Knight Riders, The Kolkata team is owned by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta.Sourav Ganguly is the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders. Australia’s John Buchanan is the coach of the team. But i really dont know that they are going to rock the IPL or not. ok let's be positive
and hope so. Shahrukh Khan's tongue-in-cheek humour had the media rolling over as he touched down in the City of Joy to launch the Kolkata Knight-Riders, the city's IPL team. Shahrukh also released the team's official song and playing shirts. The colours of the team are black and gold. And the team's mascot will be a tiger called "Hoog Lee". Designer Manish Malhotra and Gauri Khan have decided to style the cheerleaders of Shahrukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders. Manish elaborates, "The outfits worn by the cheerleaders should look cool and racy.

Usually i am not a movie freak, but recently released, the movie "Tare zameen Par" directed by Amir Khan
caught my attention. its a movie about children crafted with utmost compassion. Tare Zameer Par is about
a child who suffers because no one around him recognizes that he is a slow learner.
Aamir Khan’s entry into the movie seemed over-the-top and forced, mainly because it was in absolute contrast
with the tone of the movie. But after a little while you realize that you can’t distinguish between
the actor/director Aamir Khan and his character Nikhumb. They are both fighting the same cause.
The other characters serve their purpose as caricatures -
stereotypical father, loving mother, understanding sibling, ruthless teacher, and jeering peers.
No matter who or what the focus of the camera is, the love it feels towards its subjects shows in each frame.
And, in turn, you fall in love with what you see on screen.

I am always selective in case of music; most of my choices depend on my mood. I prefer slow and romantic songs to listen and rock hip hop songs in the dance floor. Among the western singer I just love the songs of Enrique Iglesias. Songs from his latest album ‘Insomniac’ was a hit but it wasn’t able to erase the tunes of his old hit songs like “Escape and Hero”.






He was born in Madrid, Spain, on May 8, 1975. His parents, superstar singer Julio Iglesias and model Isabel Preysler. He moved to Toronto to record his first album, which was named Tape. It sold more than a million units in three months, in 1999, his song "Bailamos" became the most requested radio track in Los Angeles and New York, his global appeal has been increased. In order to serve his international fan base, Iglesias has recorded in four languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and English.
Other than Enrique Iglesias one of my most favorite is Latin singer “Shakira”. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, on February 2, 1977, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is the youngest daughter of her parents. Shakira knew early on that she wanted to be a professional musician and by the time she was 8, she was already writing her own songs. Some of her certified double platinum hit songs are “Whenever..whenever..”, “ Hips don lie”, "Underneath Your Clothes". Following the worldwide success of her album, Shakira went on a 2-year international tour, selling out in every venue. Her popularity pushed her to release Portuguese remixes of her songs for her fans in Brazil.

Lucky Ali stepped into the world of music completely by chance. It may sound unbelievable, but Lucky first used to breed race horses in the US. Then later on he sold carpets in his friends' showroom, and even worked in an oil rig in Pondicherry!! Lucky was always interested in music, although he never took it seriously, there was a stage when he even smashed his guitar. He had no earlier formal training, Lucky finally decided to pursue music as his career as he felt it came naturally to him. Some of his awards winning hits are “Na tum jano na hum” & “Ek pal ka jina” from the movie “Kaho na pyar hai, than the songs from his film “Sur” his own album song “o sanam” featuring his wife Masoom.

Her first break came through TVShow Sa Re Ga Ma, the music talent hunt show on Zee TV. At the age of twelve she also won the children’s mega final show. Currently she is pursuing her Final year B.A. degree, her voice suits suits romantic songs and She is also comfortable singing sad songs or peppy songs. Some of her hit numbers are from the films Devdas, JIsm, Saya, Khakee, Munnabhai MBBS etc.
Coming towards my native land I mean to say Assamese music :-
I must write the name of Zubeen Garg the sensational voice from Asom at the top of the list. The actual name of Zubeen is Jiban Barthakur.He was born in 18 November 1972. is a singer and composer. According to him, He is definitely a born singer. He plays the key board dam well and He broke into professional music scene in 1992, releasing his first album - Anamika. This unusual album became an instant hit in entire North-East India.





Recently Zubeen entered into the world Hindi Film Industry through his biggest hit “ Ya ali” from the film Gangstar. Some of his other hit songs are “piya”, “subah…subah…”, ” Maya”, “Barasun”, “Pakhi”, “Sisu” etc.

Another newly added face to my fan list is the second finalist of Indian Idol 3 “Amit Paul”. He is 24 yers old from Shillong, Meghalaya. His looks and his versatile singing is making people go crazy about him. He is now the heart throb of all girls. During the Indian Idol show songs like “Why did you break my heart & “ Nasha ye payar ka nasha hai” sung by Amit rocked his performance and the show too.

Everyone must wander that what the hell is she trying to write here??????? “Waiting eagerly” is it a suitable title? I am also confused perhaps I am trying to express my feelings; I might be waiting for a successful career or for a bright future. I am also wandering that actually I am waiting for what? I am very much aware of the fact that the track of life doesn’t remain the same but my life ‘oh my god ‘it’s just like a roller coaster ride. Thought of writing about my life, stopped with thinking that what I have achieved till now from my life. Nothing I guess, in fact I never achieved what I wished for.
But still can’t stop dreaming and making wishes for my future. Life is really not easy for me full of ups & downs, I never complained ‘God’ about my life but one day if I ever get a chance I’ll off course ask god that why did he planned my life like this ? Through out these eighteen years of my life, I got the habit of many things but the craziest among them is that I got the habit of losing everything which I love. I don’t know why but each and everything which is dear to me gets away from me. Still thinking……that why my life is like this????
Oh I got my answer; I am exactly waiting for a change. Ya, a perfect change in my life…let’s see where destiny takes me…….

Writing about myself, needs a lot of thinking. But why??? If I can’t write about myself than who will???
Ok to begin with I’ll start from my native I am from Assam (read as Axom), Nagaon. A traditional Asomiya girl. My name is Aytreyee, ya it’s a strange name but I like it as it sounds uncommon. I was never interested in studies but education ruined me as I born intelligent, so currently doing Grads (Commerce) and planning of doing MBA in future. But I don’t believe in my plans, so let’s see………….. Anyways I can say about me that I always want to enjoy my life to its fullest because you never know if you will get such a life again or not. Dreams are the integral part of my life; I must say that I am a perfect dreamer. I simply love dreaming a lot and ya off course I try my best to make them true.
I think I am little bit childish and very much influenced of fairytales. I know I can’t ever make my life like those in the tales, so I enjoy them in my dream world. Always ready to try something new in life, enjoy doing crazy things and also interested in exploring new places. ‘Adventurous’ is something which I always use to describe myself, but still cant say that till now I have done something which is truly adventurous. Want to try something extra ordinary. Besides I m interested in many more other kinds of stuffs. Few among them are Writing, Browsing net, Dancing, Reading Magazines, Travelling, Photography etc. I am highly passionate about my career and want to make it a successful one. Remembering my school days I must include one sentence, ‘I am not a bad player’. Always eager to play whether it is TT, Cricket, Handball or Kabbadi. But don’t want to remember those music classes, oh I must say ‘ I am the worst singer’. Singing is just not my piece of work.
My hobbies include Bird watching, drawing cartoons, playing with puppies, going for drives etc. I enjoy listening to some selected music & poems. T.V serials & movies are something which I hate most, but I enjoy watching reality shows.
I do believe that life is all about proving yourself, if you can than you are the winner or if you can’t than you are the loser. Hard work and determination will lead you towards your goal. Believe in yourself & be careful to be successful in your life.
